One sock down, one to go

February 21, 2012

I finished the first Rotating rib sock, last night. I am going to start on the second one. So, I have one sock down and one left to go. Here is hoping that the second sock doesn’t take me as long. On a personal note, I got a call from my primary care place saying that I could go make my appointment to see the neurologist. I go this friday, in the morning. I hope that the doctor can figure out what is wrong. In one aspect I am scared, this is the first time ever that I have gone to a neurologist. But I need to find out what is wrong. And finding out what is wrong, in a sense out runs my fear of going.

And I have a surprize, for all of those who have patiently waited for the rotating rib pattern, I am going to post it here. I know you have waited so long for this pattern, and your wait has been appreciated; as I have knit this sock. And as far as I am concerned, the sock pattern works. If anything is unclear or there are mistakes, please do not hesitate to let me know, and please share your pics (of the pattern). I would love to see your pictures!

Here is the picture of the first one

and then here is the pattern

Rotating Rib Sock

I hope you enjoy!

Since I last posted

February 19, 2012

When I last left you (my dear readers) I had not been knitting on the sweater or the rotating rib socks, and just when I was about to start to knit something on the 11th of feburary; I suddenly started stuttering out of the blue. Needless to say I was scared out of my mind and went to the emergency room. The doc did all sorts of tests and couldn’t find anything. And finally tonight, I feel like I can knit again (This has been a very interesting week, I am now waiting for the neurologist’s office to call me and I hope we figure out what is going on; as I am still stuttering and suffering other symptoms). My question is, what would you knit? Would you knit a pair of simple rib socks, or a cowl, or something else. I need something that can keep my attention but at the same time I need to be able to take a break (and not lose my place) if the need arises.  So suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

Yes babies are everywhere but…

February 9, 2012

Even though I have been knitting like a well… krazy knitter should (which is every chance she/he gets), it seems the knitting fates have seem fit to play tricks on me. For no matter how long i knit on the sweater for, I still have one inch to go before I can make the sleeves. *Sigh* I really do not like being in the knitting black hole. I don’t think very many knitters do in fact.

And you kind knitters in the back who say “Why don’t you knit on the rotating rib sock” How very kind of you to offer such as suggestion, but that sock is in the black hole as well. So now I have no idea what to do. Should I start something new, and put the other projects in a time out? Or should I just grit my teeth and keep knitting on them? I need help, stat. What would you (my lovely readers) do? Please leave a comment below and let me know :)
